Forecast for 3PL in 2012 This webcast will be presented live: Tuesday, January 24, 2012 - 2pm ET - 3:00pm ET Many factors will determine the future health of the global supply chain in the new year, none more so than the economic volatility roiling global markets. Europe, wrestling with a sovereign debt crisis, is in flux. China's economy is slowing as demand for its exports wanes in Europe and the United States. But as carriers on the ocean and in the air struggle with rising costs, slowing demand and overcapacity, third-party logistics providers are thriving. How can 3PLs continue to capitalize on companies' need to control costs? What new technologies and solutions are 3PLs offering to help their customers navigate these troubled waters?
Dick Armstrong, president of logistics consultant and research firm Armstrong & Associates, will offer his forecast for 3PLs in 2012. His valuable insight will provide listeners an advantage in how to approach the year ahead and, in turn, how to deliver efficient and reliable service to their customers.
