Ruppert Landscapes has acquired selected assets from Eco Scapes in Raleigh, N.C., and expanded its Virginia operations to include a branch in Lorton, Va. Along with this growth, Ruppert has promoted David Keffer to the position of branch manager for the Lorton branch, and Justin Gibson has been named branch manager of the company's Gainesville, Va., landscape maintenance branch. Kobelco's 25,000th American-Made Excavator
The 25,000th excavator rolled off the assembly line at Kobelco's Calhoun, Ga. manufacturing facility. The SK350 Mar 9 Series full-sized excavator is headed to CLM Equipment Co., a Kobelco dealer based in Louisiana.

Green Roof Installed in St. Paul
The LiveRoof Hybrid Green Roof System was selected for the 1,800-square-foot green roof that was installed on the new Anderson Center at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn. The project is designed to meet U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver standards. Bachman's, located in Minneapolis, Minn., vegetated the modules before installation.
