NRCS Awards Grants for Three Massachusetts Projects
Christine Clarke, Massachusetts state conservationist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has announced nearly $217,000 in Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) for three projects that will stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies to address water quality and quantity, air quality, energy conservation, and other natural resource issues. Farm to School Grant Funding Available
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture has two matching state grant programs available for 2013, with $75,000 available to Vermont schools through the Farm to School Grant program, as well as $40,000 available to agricultural producers and food hubs serving institutional markets through the Local Food Market Development Grant program.
